INVITATION OF ELIGIBLE PHARMACEUTICAL FIRMS/COMPANIES TO SUBMIT QUOTATION FOR PROCUREMENT OF DRUGS FOR THE SECOND HALF OF THE YEAR 2022
Invitation for quotation is hereby extended to qualified Pharmaceutical Firms/Companies for Procurement of Drugs at Federal College of Education, Abeokuta. Form G2A showing details of the required drugs can be obtained from the Directorate of Procurement (Provost’s Office), Federal College of Education, Abeokuta between the hours of 8.00a.m and 4p.m daily from the above date of this notice. Interested bidders are expected to indicate brands, park size and prices of drugs offered by them for competitive comparison. You are also required to attach eligibility criteria valid for the year 2022 procurements, i.e. photocopy of each of Business Registration/Incorporation, Tax Clearance Certificate, evidence of registration with the Bureau of Public Procurement, Compliance Certificates of the Industrial Training Fund, Pension Commission, Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund and Audited Account Report for the last three years duly certified by an external Auditor.
All bidders are to submit their sealed and signed quotations in an envelope to be marked as “SUPPLY OF DRUGS” inside the Tender Box located in the office of Director of Procurement. Submission of quotations from the date of this notice closes 12.00 noon Wednesday 8th June 2022. Please indicate the Validity Period within which price offered by your firm shall remain valid, which should not be less than 60days from the closing date of submission of quotations. Failure to comply with the aforementioned requirements shall be considered as major deviation and treated accordingly.
Representatives of each firm bidding for the supply of drugs are expected to attend the opening of Tender, scheduled to hold following the deadline for submission at 12.00noon, on Wednesday 8th June 2022 in the New Conference Room (Provost’s Office) to observe the opening exercise and countersign quotations submitted by co-bidders in line with the provision of Section 45.1 of the Procurement Procedures Manual. All bidders are to be responsible for personal safety in order to curtail community spread of COVID-19 variants.
