PROXY PROCESSING OF CLEARANCE / CERTIFICATES

PROCESSING OF CLEARANCE / STATEMENT OF RESULT / NCE CERTIFICATE BY PROXY

The processing of NCE Clearance / Statement of Result / NCE Certificate by graduates of the Federal College of Education, Abeokuta, can be a difficult task when such graduates live far away from the institution, work full-time, reside outside Ogun State, or are otherwise unable to visit the College personally. To address this practical challenge, there is an independent service (private proxy assistance services), helping graduates navigate the required procedures, make payments, submit documents and follow up on the collection process on their behalf.

The service is particularly useful for former students who have completed their programmes and are eligible to obtain their Statement of Result / NCE Certificate but cannot conveniently travel to the College for the process. Rather than making repeated trips to the College, this service can be used by graduates to assist with the administrative process based on an agreed service charge.

What Does the Proxy Service/Assistance Involve?

A proxy assistant is essentially a person engaged by a graduate to provide practical assistance with the processing of NCE Clearance / Statement of Result / NCE Certificate. Depending on the agreement between both parties and the requirements of the College at the time, the assistant may help the graduate with activities such as confirming the necessary requirements, facilitating payment, submitting relevant documents, following up with the appropriate offices and finalising the process of the Clearance / Statement of Result / NCE Certificate prior to official collection by the owner in question.

The graduate remains responsible for providing accurate personal and academic information and for meeting all requirements stipulated by the College. The proxy assistant's role is only to help the graduate complete the process more conveniently.

Proxy Assistance for Any Graduate

Distance is one of the major reasons graduates may delay processing their NCE Clearance / Statement of Result / NCE Certificate. A former student who now lives in another state or outside Nigeria may find it inconvenient or expensive to travel to the College at Abeokuta simply to complete an administrative process.

A reliable proxy arrangement can reduce this burden. After discussing the requirements with the graduate, the assistant help coordinate the necessary steps and provide updates as the process progresses. This can save the graduate transportation costs, accommodation expenses, time and the inconvenience associated with making multiple trips to the College.

The service can also benefit graduates who live relatively close to Abeokuta but have demanding work, business or family schedules. Visiting the College during specific working hours may not always be convenient for such individuals.

Instead of taking time away from work or other commitments, the graduate may engage a proxy assistant to handle all permitted aspects of the process. The arrangement allows the graduate to focus on other responsibilities while the assistant follows up on the administrative requirements.

Payment of College Fees

Graduates should understand that the official fee charged by the College for each process is separate from the proxy assistant's service charge.

Based on the procedure described above, the client is liable to pay all College charges for the procedure of Clearance / Statement of Result / NCE Certificate, exclusive of applicable Remita charges. This official institutional payment should not be confused with the amount charged by a private individual for assisting the graduate.

For example, if a graduate agrees to pay a proxy assistant ₦5,000 for assistance, that ₦5,000 represents the agreed service charge between the graduate and the assistant. It does not replace or automatically include the College's official fee unless both parties expressly agree that the amount covers particular expenses.

For transparency, the graduate and the assistant clearly agree in advance on what the service charge covers, including whether it includes photocopying, printing, communication, payment-related expenses or other incidental costs.

Proxy Service Charges

Proxy assistance is generally a private arrangement between the graduate and the person providing the service. There is therefore no single universal amount that every graduate must pay for such assistance.

The amount may depend on factors such as:

    - The amount of documentation (Clearance, Statement of Result or NCE Certificate)

     that needs to be processed.

    - Logistical expenses.

    - Whether the graduate requires payment, submission and follow-up assistance.

    - The urgency of the request.

Before proceeding, both parties agree on the service fee and the specific responsibilities of the assistant. Having a clear agreement helps prevent misunderstandings about what is included in the payment.

Documents and Information to Provide

Because the College may require specific documentation for the processing of Clearance / Statement of Result / NCE Certificate, the graduate should ensure that all relevant requirements are available. These may include evidence of clearance, payment receipts, school-fee, medical clearance, acceptance and ICT fee receipts, DEWS, etc., where applicable, passport photographs, identification and any underlying issues with the College, Department or School.

Importance of Using a Trusted Proxy Service

A graduate should use a person whose identity and reliability can be established. The assistant also maintains transparency by giving the graduate receipts, payment evidence and updates concerning the progress of the application.

Proxy Assistance Does Not Bypass College Procedures

A proxy assistant does not claim to have special authority to alter College requirements, guarantee effortless processing, falsify documents or circumvent clearance procedures. The purpose of the service is simply to help a graduate complete the legitimate administrative process when the graduate cannot conveniently appear in person.

All payments, documentation, verification and collection is therefore carried out in accordance with the requirements of the Federal College of Education, Abeokuta, as applicable at the time of the application.

Convenient Options for Graduates

For graduates who are far away, working, travelling or otherwise unable to personally visit the College, a legitimate proxy assistance arrangement provide a convenient way to pursue the processing of Clearance / Statement of Result / NCE Certificate.

Ultimately, the Clearance / Statement of Result / NCE Certificate remains an official academic document issued by the College. A proxy assistant merely provides administrative and logistical assistance to the graduate and should operate within whatever authorisation and procedures the College currently permits.

In summary: Graduates who cannot personally visit the Federal College of Education, Abeokuta, may consider engaging a trusted proxy agent to assist with the Clearance / Statement of Result / NCE Certificate process. The graduate and the assistant agree on a reasonable service charge through discussion on WhatsApp handle provided at the right hand-side on your screen.

NB: A PROXY AGENT ONLY ASSIST WITH THE PROCESSING AND NOT THE COLLECTION OF CERTIFICATES, STATEMENT OF RESULTS OR ANY OTHER OFFICIAL DOCUMENT. To request for this proxy service, click on the WhatsApp Icon on the lower right-hand side of your screen to engage a Proxy Agent.
