LASU-ABK SANDWICH DEGREE ONLINE REGISTRATION PROCEDURE

Step 1: Applicants are advised to visit any commercial bank and pay N10,300.00 (application form and other charges) for LAGOS STATE UNIVERSITY OJO (ABEOKUTA SANDWICH) DEGREE PROGRAMME through eTranzact Platform and obtain payment receipt. The applicant can then proceed to the College portal (see Step 2), log in with the eTranzact CONFIRMATION ORDER NUMBER and complete the online registration form following steps 2 to 7.

Step 2: From the website fce-abeokuta.edu.ng, click LASU-ABK SANDWICH

Step 3: Enter your enTrazact CONFIRMATION ORDER NUMBER. This will take you to the Registration page which will display the online registration form

Step 4: On the online registration form, type your personal details in the spaces provided.

Step 5: On completion of typing your personal details on the online registration form, click SUBMIT and wait to see the message: Successfully Registered.

Step 6: Click PRINT FORM. This will display your completed online registration form. At this stage, you are advised to save the softcopy of the form before printing.

Step 7: Finally, applicants should immediately take the printed form (hardcopy) and bank teller/eTranzact payment receipt to LASU Sandwich Degree Office, CESAPREP FCE Abeokuta and obtain College receipt.

2021 MODULAR YEAR ADMISSION FORM FOR LASU SANDWICH DEGREE

ONLINE REGISTRATION PROCEDURE

Step 1: Visit https://www.fce-abeokuta.edu.ng , then look for LASU-ABK SANDWICH and click on it to read instructions about the process.

Step 2: On the Pre-Registration page, enter your email address and click the "Pre-Register" button. Applicant most note the generated "Application ID" as it will be required in the registration process.

Step 3: On the success of Step 2. You will be redirected to the payment platform to pay the sum of N10,400.00 (application form and other charges) for LAGOS STATE UNIVERSITY OJO (ABEOKUTA SANDWICH) DEGREE PROGRAMME

Step 4: On the success of step 3, download your receipt. Go to the "application portal" page, enter your Application ID and click the submit button.

Step 5: On the registration page, complete your personal details and other information required, click SUBMIT and wait to see the message "Successfully Registered".

Step 6: Click "Print Your Application Form". This will display your completed online registration form. At this stage, you are advised to save the softcopy of the form before printing.

Step 7: Finally, applicants should immediately take the printed form (hardcopy) to LASU Sandwich Degree Office, CESAPREP FCE Abeokuta.

ADMISSION INTO SANDWICH DEGREE PROGRAMMES

1.0: PREAMBLE

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the

under-listed Sandwich Degree Programmes in Lagos State University, Ojo.

2.0: FACULTY OF EDUCATION

B.SC [ED], B.A [ED] and B.ED: FOUR [4] AND FIVE [5] YEARS SANDWICH DEGREE PROGRAMMES IN THE FOLLOWING COURSES:

i. B.Sc Education: Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, Human Kinetics Sports and Health Education, Health Education, Educational Technology and Computer Science Education.

ii. B.Sc. Education: Economics, Political Science, Geography, Business Education, Accounting Education and Educational Management.

iii. B.A. Education: History, Christian Religious Studies, Islamic Religious Studies, French, English, Yoruba and Arabic.

iv. B.Ed: Early Childhood and Primary Education, Guidance and Counseling Education.

3.0: GENERAL BASIC REQUIREMENTS

i. Five [5] ‘0’ Level Credit or TCII Merit Passes at not more than two [2] sittings and two [2] of the subjects at ‘A’ Level or NCE Merit Passes in relevant areas.

ii. A University/Polytechnic two [2] year Diploma Certificate in the relevant area obtained at not less than Merit level.

iii. Credit Pass in English Language and Mathematics is compulsory for all courses.

3.1: SPECIFIC SUBJECT AREA REQUIREMENTS

i. English Major: Credits Pass in Literature in English and English Language at ‘O’ Level or its equivalent.

ii Economic Major: Credit Pass in English Language, Mathematics and Economics.

ii. Human Kinetics Sports and Health Education; Political Science Major: At least a Credits Pass in English Language and Mathematics at ‘O’ Level or its equivalent.

iv. Health Education Major: 

[i] A Credit Pass in English Language and Mathematics.

[ii] Holders of Staff Registered Nurse and Midwifery Certificates, Environmental Health, Diploma from School of Health Technology Plus five [5] ‘O’ Level Credit Passes to include English Language and Mathematics are also eligible.

v. Mathematics and Science Major: Credit Pass in Mathematics and English Language.

4.0: NOTE

a) ICAN [Part II] CIS [Part II] are acceptable for Economics.

b) Holders of Certificate issued by recognized Arabic Institution who may not have written Arabic at SSCE/GCE ‘O’ Level will be considered for admission subject to the fulfillment of other entry requirements, NCE [Arabic] at Merit Level is also acceptable.

c) LASU accepts any other Arts/Social Sciences subject in lieu of Yoruba Language.

d) Diploma in Health Education, Environmental Health, Physical Education, Social Work, Health Administration, Certificate in Coaching, Advanced Diploma in Sports from Nigerian Institute for Sports with at least overall grades of Merit Plus five

[5] ‘O’ Level Credit/TC II Merit Passes to include English Language and Mathematics are also acceptable for Human Kinetics Sports and Health Education.

5.0: COURSE DURATION

5:1: FOUR [4] YEAR DEGREE PROGRAMME

The four [4] year Degree Programme is designed for candidates with NCE/ND Merit/Upper Credit grade and above.

5.2: FIVE [5] YEAR DEGREE PROGRAMME

The five [5] year Degree Programme is designed for candidates with WASC/SSCE/TC II and NCE who fall short of entry qualification for the four [4] year Sandwich Degree Programme.

6.0: METHOD OF APPLICATION

Application Form is obtainable from Lagos State University Website: www.lasu.edu.ng on the payment of Ten Thousand Naira [N10,000:00] only, as application fee. However, candidates are requested to submit a copy of their online application form and appropriate ‘O’ Level scratch card[s] used ONLY ONCE (card number must be visible) to lasusandwichexams2018@qmail.com, Name, Form Number and Course should be quoted

as the subject.
