FOR FRESHMEN /WOMEN INTO (100LEVL)

Admission into the Federal College of Education, Osiele, Abeokuta (FCEABK) involves the following processes:

• Online Admission Application on the school registration portal/ website (https://fceabeokuta.merkovsolution.com/instructions)
• Pre-Admission Screening Exercise (for UTME candidates with 100 scores and above in JAMB UTME) at the administration office at Federal College of Education Osiele Abeokuta.

Successful candidates will be offered admission and required to undergo an intensive screening of their O' Level and Jamb results and other requested results to prepare them for school life in Federal College of Education, Osiele, Abeokuta.

Admission Procedure

All applicants seeking undergraduate admission into 100 Level in the Federal College of Education, Osiele, Abeokuta (FCEABK) are hereby invited to apply online for the NCE Pre-Admission Screening Exercise. Applications must be from suitably qualified candidates who have chosen the Federal College of Education, Abeokuta as their First Choice of Institution on the prescribed form obtained from the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).

Applicants must also possess minimum entry requirements of four (4) O’ Level Credits in relevant subjects at one or two sittings in SSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB and fill the results online during registration. Applicants are advised to confirm the Admission Requirements into respective NCE Programmes before logging in to fill the e-application form. 

Only candidates with completed application before the stipulated deadline will be considered. Candidates must ensure to provide accurate bio-data and academic information when filling your application form.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

All candidates suitable for the online registration form for admission into Federal College of Education, Osiele, Abeokuta must have the following;

* O' level result (minimum of 4 credits)

* Jamb result (total score of 100+ above)

* Passport photograph

* Phone number

* Parent's and next of kin's fullname

* Parent's and next of kin phone numbers

* Home address

* Parent's address

METHOD OF APPLICATION

Candidates who are qualified to register for the Admission are required to Log on to the College registration portal on: fce-abeokuta.edu.ng and follow the Admission LINK to fill in their bio-data and make a payment of a NON REFUNDABLE fee of N2000.00 through the appropriate payment channel on the registration portal using either ATM, USSD code, Internet Banking, bank account etc. Candidates must complete the Online Registration form by filing in your appropriate personal details and results.

PLEASE NOTE: All candidates should ensure that they carefully fill the online registration form in CAPITAL LETTERS, use functional mobile numbers, e-mail addresses, next if kin contacts and follow ALL other necessary instructions requested. Care must be taken NOT to click FINAL SUBMISSION/SUBMIT until the necessary preview/editing has been done.

All candidates are expected to upload their passport photograph, and the passport photograph must not exceed 25kb. The photograph must be in plain background, without any form of head/face cover, face cap etc.

All candidates should please endeavour to submit hard copies of the completed online registration form, Jamb result slip, copies of their credentials and evidence of payment at the Administration Office at the Federal College of Education, Abeokuta.

Candidates must wait for the confirmation and announcement from the College for the release of the fully functional website for admission registration every academic session on Federal College of Education, Osiele, Abeokuta Portal before registration is done to avoid payment twice. Kindly adhere to these advice. These notice is announced as a reminder for the over-conscious candidates that do not exercise patience before the appointed time of POST-UTME registration. DATE AND TIME OF SCREENING

The Post-UTME screening exercise for UTME candidates shall take place at the College premises at the stipulated date to be communicated to all applicants on the mobile phone numbers provided by the registered candidates, also candidates are required to monitor the portal/ website for the Post-UTME screening dates. Candidates/Students are to come along with their online registration print out, photocopies of other credentials and evidence of payment. Successful candidates would be communicated via SMS or e-mail.

Candidates should monitor the website for the Provisional Admission List. Successful candidates will be communicated via SMS and E-mail.

Candidates/Students should ensure to log on to JAMB CAPS website and ensure that they choose Federal College of Education Osiele Abeokuta as their first choice, and also to change their course combination to ensure quick admission process and smooth response.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS (NCE)

Applicants must possess minimum entry qualification of four (4) O’level credit and a pass in relevant subjects at one or two sittings in SSCE/GCE/NECO or its equivalent.

ELIGIBILITY FOR THE ADMISSION SCREENING EXERCISE 

Only candidates who sat for the JAMB/UTME with relevant subjects combinations and have scored a minimum of 100 are eligible to participate in the admission screening exercise.

Please Note: Interested candidates should note that they are to change their choice of institution to Federal College of Education, Abeokuta as first (1st) choice on JAMB website before registering on-line for the admission screening exercise, provided they meet the above requirement. Also, Candidates are employed to upload their 'O'Level results on jamb website if they have not done so.

SCREENING EXERCISE

The Federal College of Education, Abeokuta screening exercise is meant for candidates who have done the above mentioned. Also, candidates should always be alert for necessary information regarding their admission. Always visit the school portal for quality and genuine update and information regarding screening exercise.

STEPS AFTER THE SCREENING EXERCISE /EXAMINATIONS

* After the exercise, candidates will be given clearance slip, which means that they are eligible to pay for acceptance fee.

* Candidates are to pay the the amount declared by the school administration office not less than the date specified for payment.

* After payment, Candidates should ensure collection of original receipt from the admission office

*Candidates should visit JAMB portal frequently to check and accept ☑ admission status

* Candidate should be able to print out admission letter from JAMB (if the desired course by the candidate is being offered), while awaiting the process of the school admission letter.

*Candidates should be alert for information concerning the school admission list.

* After the list is out, each Candidates should ensure his/her name is on the list to ensure successful admission.

* Candidates can go for submission of documents to the administration office to get clearance for school fees payment.

PLEASE NOTE: All documents, slip, and numbers given/received at the administration office is very important, so candidates are employed to keep this documents safe and closeby because any of this document can be requested for by the school, and failure to keep this documents till graduation may result to excess payment or make an individual forfeit admission. Please adhere strictly to this information.
