FCE (NCE) ADMISSION

FOR FRESHMEN /WOMEN (100 LEVL)

NB: Henceforth, Registration into full-time NCE programme no longer requires JAMB registration. All eligible candidates with the minimum required O’ level result should proceed to Federal College of Education, Abeokuta to obtain their NCE registration form starting from the year 2026.

Admission into the Federal College of Education, Abeokuta involves the following processes:

• Online Admission Application on the school registration portal/ website (https://fceabeokuta.merkovsolution.com/instructions)

• Pre-Admission Screening Exercise (for UTME candidates with 100 scores and above in JAMB UTME) at the administration office at Federal College of Education Osiele Abeokuta.

Successful candidates will be required to undergo screening of their O' Level, Jamb results and other requested documents to prepare them for admission offer at Federal College of Education, Abeokuta.

ADMISSION PROCEDURE

All applicants seeking undergraduate admission into 100 Level at Federal College of Education, are invited to apply online for the NCE Pre-Admission Screening Exercise. Applications must be candidates who have chosen the Federal College of Education, Abeokuta as their First Choice of Institution on the prescribed form obtained from the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).

Applicants must also possess minimum entry requirements of four (4) O’ Level Credits in relevant subjects at one or two sittings in SSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB and fill the results online during registration. Applicants are advised to confirm the Admission Requirements into respective NCE Programmes before logging in to fill out the e-application form.

Only candidates with completed application before the stipulated deadline will be considered. Candidates must ensure accurate biodata and academic information when filling in their application form.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

All candidates suitable for the online registration form for admission into Federal College of Education, Abeokuta must have the following;

* A suitable course/programme of study

* Choose Federal College of Education Osiele Abeokuta as first choice

* O' level result (minimum of 4 credits)

* Jamb result (minimum of 100+ above)

* Passport photograph

* Phone number and e-Mail

* NIN

* Parent's and next of kin's full name

* Parent's and next of kin phone numbers

* Home address

* Parent's address

METHOD OF APPLICATION

Candidates who are qualified to register for the admission are required to Log on to the College registration portal on: fce-abeokuta.edu.ng and follow the admission link to fill in their biodata and make a NON-REFUNDABLE fee of N2000.00 through the appropriate payment channel on the registration portal using either ATM, USSD code, Internet Banking, bank account, bank transfer, etc. Candidates must complete the Online Registration form by filing in the appropriate personal details and results.

PLEASE NOTE: All candidates should ensure that they carefully fill in the online registration form in CAPITAL LETTERS or Initial Capital, use functional mobile numbers, e-mail addresses, next of kin contact and follow ALL necessary instructions requested. Care must be taken NOT to click FINAL SUBMISSION/SUBMIT until the necessary preview/editing has been done.

All candidates are expected to upload their passport photograph and signature; each file should not exceed 50kb. The passport photograph must be in plain or white background, without any form of head/face cover, sunglasses, face cap, etc.

All candidates should endeavour to submit hard copies of the completed online registration form, Jamb result slip, copies of their credentials and evidence of payment at the Administration Office at the Federal College of Education, Abeokuta.

Candidates must wait for the confirmation and announcement from the College for the release of the fully functional website for admission registration every academic session on Federal College of Education, Abeokuta Portal before registration is done to avoid scam.

DATE AND TIME OF SCREENING

The Post-UTME screening exercise for UTME candidates shall take place at the College premises at the stipulated date to be communicated to all applicants on the mobile phone numbers or email provided by all registered candidates. Candidates can also monitor the portal/ website for the Post-UTME screening dates. On the screening day, candidates are to come along with their (i) online registration print out, (ii) photocopies of O’level and other credentials and evidence of payments, (iii) NIN, (iv) passport photograph, (v) birth certificate, (vi) O’level PIN/Token, and other required document.

Candidates/Students should ensure to log on to JAMB CAPS website to check their admission status and ACCEPT ADMISSION immediately admission has been given by JAMB CAPS website to ensure quick admission process and smooth response.

Please Note: Interested candidates should note that they are to change their choice of institution to Federal College of Education, Abeokuta as first (1st) choice on JAMB website before registering for the admission screening exercise, provided they meet the above requirement. Also, candidates are employed to upload their 'O'Level results on JAMB website if they have not done so.

STEPS AFTER SCREENING EXERCISE/EXAMINATIONS

* After the screening exercise, candidates will be given a clearance slip, which means that they are eligible to pay for acceptance fee.

* Candidates are to pay the amount stipulated by the College administration office not less than the date specified for payment.

* After payment, Candidates should ensure collection of original receipt from the admission office by submitting the payment receipt printed online.

*Candidates should visit JAMB portal frequently to check admission status and accept ☑ admission immediately admission is given by JAMB.

* Candidate should ensure to print out Admission Letter from JAMB, while awaiting the process of the College Admission Letter.

*Candidates should be alert for any information concerning the College admission list.

* Candidates should visit the administrative office for submission of documents to be cleared for clearance of school fees payment.

PLEASE NOTE: All documents and slip given/received at the administration office is very important, therefore candidates are to keep all documents safe and close-by for any form of immediate request of these documents by the College. Failure to keep all documents till graduation may result in extra charges/payment or hindrance to collection of result. Please adhere strictly to all the above information.
