GENERAL TIMETABLE
The Federal College of Education, Osiele, Abeokuta usually releases a general timetable covering the different schools within the College. After the general timetable has been released, individual departments proceed to release their respective departmental timetables.

There may be adjustments to the time, venue, period, or arrangement of particular courses due to academic or administrative reasons. DEPARTMENTAL TIMETABLE
In addition to the general timetable, students are expected to obtain the departmental timetable applicable to their respective departments. Departmental timetables are specific to individual departments and contain courses that are offered within those departments.
For example, a student studying English Language/Christian Religious Studies (ENG/CRS) may be required to obtain three different timetables:
General Timetable
English Language Timetable and;
Christian Religious Studies Timetable
The combination of these three timetables provides the student with the complete timetable required for the ENG/CRS programme.
Similarly, a student in Business Education Studies (DM) may be expected to obtain two major timetables:

Business Education Timetable
Students should therefore understand that obtaining only the general timetable may not provide all the information required for their academic activities.
WHY STUDENTS NEED THEIR COMPLETE TIMETABLE
The availability of a complete and accurate timetable is important to every student. It helps students properly organise their daily academic activities, plan their study periods, prepare for lectures, and manage their time effectively.
Because of the number of departments, courses, schools, and different course combinations within the College, compiling every departmental timetable into one online timetable can be a large and complicated task. For this reason, only the general timetable may sometimes be published online, while individual departmental timetables are obtained directly from the relevant departments.

All students are advised to make the necessary effort to obtain a copy of the general timetable and all relevant departmental or course timetables applicable to their programme.
Students should also keep checking for timetable changes and confirm information through reliable sources such as their department, course representatives, class heads, or school notice boards.
