Use the School Map to find your way around the campus easily.
SCHOOL GATE: The main entrance to the Federal College of Education, Osiele Abeokuta.
CESAPREP: This displays the location for 'Centre for Sandwich and Pre Nce Programmes'. A one year pre-nce programme for candidates who are yet to obtain JAMB.
CEDEP (UI): This show the location of (Centre for Degree Programmes in Affiliation with University of Ibadan, Ibadan) in Federal College of Education, Osiele, Abeokuta Main Campus.
MEDICAL: The location of FCE medical is shown in the map above.
CHAPEL: The location of Chapel is a place of worship at Federal College of Education, Osiele, Abeokuta Main Campus.
ICT: The location of Information Communication Technology present in Federal College of Education, Osiele, Abeokuta Main Campus.
MAINA HALL: The Main Hall is the biggest Hall in Federal College of Education, Osiele, Abeokuta.
MAIN HALL: Main Hall is located close to the Students Union Government (SUG) Building, Federal College of Education, Osiele, Abeokuta.
SUG: The location of Students Union Government (SUG) Building is beside the Main Hall, facing the Old Music department.
SOKOYA HALL: Sokoya Hall is located beside the Gani Belo Lbrary, divided by a road close to the Hostel.
E-LIBRARY: E-library is closely located beside Gani Belo Library.
GANI BELLO LIBRARY: The Gani Belo Library is also located beside the E-library.
DAP: The Directorate of Academic Planning is situated closely to the staff club, behind the Gymnastic Building. The offices administrates with Alumni Relations
MOSQUE: The Mosque is situated beside NASU Building, directly facing the ICT Building.
NASU: Non-Academic Staff Union Building is mainly behind the School Medical Building.
ENAS: ENAS is situated along the road alongside NASU Building.
BANKS: Access Bank and United Bank for Africa is located at the right hand side alongside the school main entrance, just after the school gate.
ATM: ATM (dispensable machines) is located after the school main entrance.
GYM: The NEW PHE gymnastics building located beside the school staff club, backing the DAP Building.
ABIOLA LAKE: The Chief Moshood Abiola Lake is a dam situated alongside the staff club, opposite the New Provost Building.
SHOPS/CAFE: Shops and Cafes are located behind Access bank where various document-able jobs and reservations can be made from different shops and cafes
SMALL GATE: This is popularly referred to as 'small gate' due to the size of the gate. The small gate is opposite the Osiele market, situated alongside the Abeokuta-Ibadan express-way.
SCHOOL FIELD: is situated alongside the school's main entrance, by the left hand side.
🗺️ HOW TO USE THE CAMPUS MAP
1. Find Your Current Location
Locate “WHERE YOU ARE” 📍 on the map.
That is your starting point.
If you are entering through a gate, first identify the School Gate or Small Gate closest to you.
2. Identify Your Destination
Look for the building, facility, hostel, office, or location you want to visit. Major locations are clearly labelled, including:
🏫 Schools and academic departments
🏢 Main Hall and administrative offices
🛏️ Student hostels
📚 Gani Belo Library and e-Library
⛪ Chapel
🕌 Mosques
🏥 Medical Centre
💻 ICT Centre
🏦 Bank and ATM
🏃 Gym and Staff Club
⚽ School Field and Ball Court
🛍️ Shops/Café
🌊 Abiola Lake
🚪 School Gate (main entrance) and Small Gate
3. Follow the Roads and Paths
Solid/major roads indicate routes for vehicles.
Pedestrian paths show routes students can use on foot.
Follow the directional arrows to understand the movement of traffic.
Use connecting paths to move from the main road to individual buildings.
4. Use Landmarks to Confirm Your Direction
If you are unsure of your location, use prominent landmarks such as:
Main Hall → Chapel → Medical Centre → Whiz Hostel → Main Hall/SUG area → Library → Abiola Lake
These landmarks can help you determine whether you are moving in the correct direction.
Example: From the School Gate to the Medical Centre
Enter through the School Gate.
Follow the central road eastward (towards the sunrise).
Look for the Chapel (there is a big white cross).
The Medical Centre is located close to the Chapel.
Follow the sign/path marked MEDICAL.
Direction: School Gate → Main Road → Medical Centre
