APPLICATION FOR ADMISSION INTO FULL-TIME (REGULAR) DEGREE PROGRAMMES FOR THE 2020/2021 ACADEMIC SESSION
The Centre for Degree Programmes (CEDEP), Federal College of Education, Abeokuta, in affiliation with the University of Ibadan, Ibadan, hereby invites suitably qualified candidates to apply for admission into its Full-Time (Regular) Degree Programmes for the 2020/2021 academic session.
The admission opportunity is open to candidates who participated in the 2020 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and obtained a minimum score of 200. Eligible candidates are encouraged to carefully study the admission requirements and application procedures before commencing their registration.

Applicants should ensure that the programme they intend to study corresponds with their academic qualifications and the relevant admission requirements.
FOUR-YEAR DEGREE PROGRAMME
The four-year degree programme is designed for candidates seeking admission through the UTME route and who possess the required Senior Secondary School qualifications.
Applicants must have obtained at least five (5) credit-level passes in WASCE, SSCE, NECO or GCE, including English Language and Mathematics, in one sitting.
Alternatively, candidates may qualify with a minimum of six (6) credit passes obtained in not more than two sittings.
In addition to these general requirements, candidates are expected to possess credit passes in the specific subjects relevant to their chosen degree programme. Applicants are therefore advised to consult the appropriate admission requirements and relevant-subject combinations provided by the Centre before completing their application.

THREE-YEAR DEGREE PROGRAMME
The three-year degree programme is available to candidates who have successfully completed the Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE).
Applicants seeking admission through the Direct Entry route must also have obtained the 2020 JAMB Direct Entry (D.E.) form.
Furthermore, Direct Entry candidates are required to have graduated from their NCE programme with at least a Merit classification. Applicants must also satisfy the required O'Level qualifications stipulated by the University of Ibadan, as contained in the relevant JAMB Brochure.
Candidates applying through Direct Entry are advised to carefully verify that their NCE qualification, subject combination, O'Level results and other credentials meet the requirements for their proposed degree programme before submitting an application.

METHOD OF APPLICATION
Interested and qualified candidates are required to access the CEDEP application portal at:
Applicants should follow the instructions provided on the portal to begin the application process. Candidates will be required to provide their bio-data and make payment of a non-refundable application fee of ₦2,000.00 (Two Thousand Naira).
Payment is to be made through Paystack, using either an ATM card or a bank account number. Candidates who choose to pay through an account number will receive a payment code on their registered mobile phone. The code should be entered as instructed on the portal to complete the payment process.
After successful payment, candidates should proceed to complete the online application form by accurately entering their examination results and other required information.
IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS TO APPLICANTS
Candidates are strongly advised to complete the online registration form carefully and enter all information correctly. The form should be filled in CAPITAL LETTERS, where required.
Applicants must provide functional mobile telephone numbers and valid email addresses, as these communication channels may be used to provide important information concerning the admission and screening exercise.
Candidates should carefully review all information entered on the application form before submitting it. Applicants are specifically advised not to click the “FINAL SUBMISSION” button until they have thoroughly previewed and edited their application and confirmed that all information supplied is correct.
Every applicant is also required to upload a recent passport photograph. The photograph must be in JPEG format and must not exceed 25KB in size. It should have a plain background, and candidates must not wear any form of head or face covering, including face caps, during the photograph.
After completing the online registration, candidates are expected to submit the required hard-copy documents at the Admin Office, Centre for Degree Programmes (CEDEP), Federal College of Education, Abeokuta.
The documents to be submitted should include:
Printed copy of the completed online registration form;
JAMB result slip;
Photocopies of relevant academic credentials; and
Evidence of payment of the application fee.
POST-UTME SCREENING
The Post-UTME examination for UTME candidates will be conducted at the Centre for Degree Programmes within the College.
The specific date and time of the screening exercise will be communicated to applicants through the mobile telephone numbers supplied during registration. Candidates are also advised to regularly monitor the CEDEP website for announcements concerning the Post-UTME examination schedule. On the day of the screening exercise, candidates are expected to come along with their online registration printout, photocopies of their credentials, and evidence of payment.
Following the screening exercise, successful candidates will be notified through SMS and email. Candidates are also advised to regularly check the website for the release of the Provisional Admission List.
