2018 DIRECT ENTRY ADMISSION LIST — FIRST BATCH (D–E)

The Centre for Degree Programmes (CEDEP) of the Federal College of Education, Abeokuta, in partnership with the University of Ibadan, Ibadan, has released the first batch of its 2018 Direct Entry admission list.

Candidates who have seen their names on the admission notice displayed either online or on the College premises are encouraged to verify their admission status through the appropriate official channels before commencing the registration process.

The following candidates were listed among those offered admission in the first batch:

ADMISSION AND REGISTRATION PROCEDURE

Newly admitted students are expected to complete the registration process in the prescribed order. The following steps should be followed carefully:

Stage 1: Admission Office

The Admission Office serves as the first point of contact for newly admitted candidates. At this stage, the candidate's academic credentials will be examined and compared with the requirements for the programme to which admission has been offered.

Candidates are required to bring the original copies of their credentials for verification. Photocopies of the relevant documents that qualify the candidate for admission should also be submitted to the Admission Office for official records.

After the verification exercise, successful candidates will receive a registration package containing the following documents:

        Course Registration Form

        Student Personal Data Form

        Student Medical Examination Form

Candidates are expected to complete the sections assigned to them and submit the forms to the appropriate designated officials for checking and confirmation.

Stage 2: Bursary

After completing the initial admission formalities, students should proceed to the Bursary Department to make the required school-fee payment.

Students should ensure that they obtain and retain evidence of payment for subsequent stages of the registration process.

Stage 3: ICT Centre

Following payment of the prescribed fees, students are expected to proceed to the ICT Centre for their online registration.

The necessary student information and registration details will be entered into the College's online system at this stage.

Stage 4: School/Department Verification

Students should then report to their respective Schools with their letters of provisional admission.

The relevant School authorities will verify the student's credentials and confirm that the candidate satisfies the conditions for registration into the chosen programme.

Students who successfully complete this verification will be provided with the appropriate registration forms. These forms must be completed correctly and submitted to the designated School Officer for examination and endorsement.

Stage 5: Students' Affairs Office

Candidates who have successfully completed the preceding stages should proceed to the Students' Affairs Office.

At this point, students may receive assistance with hostel allocation and complete other required Students' Affairs formalities.

Stage 6: Final Submission

After completing all the preceding registration stages, students are required to return to the Admission Office.

A copy of the duly completed and authenticated verification form should be submitted to the Admission Office as confirmation that the candidate has completed the required admission and registration procedures.
